Sign up for a Coastal Land Trust License Plates!

Specialty plates are a great way for residents of the state to show their support for the Coastal Land Trust while helping us raise awareness of our organization. This is a great opportunity for the land trust to create a new sustainable revenue stream - some groups receive almost $100,000 annually! The additional fee for the plate is $30, and the land trust receives $20 per plate to support conservation work in the coastal plain of North Carolina.

In order to produce the plate, we must collect 300 applications and payment from NC residents, who currently have vehicles registered with the DMV and are willing to purchase the specialized plate. We are working hard to reach the goal by this fall, but we need your help!

So tell your friends and family, take applications to your church, kayaking buddies, or your Rotary Club - help spread the word and protect more of the special places at the coast!
