Membership:
The Coastal Land Trust works to protect land, water, and air quality to maintain your way of life. We help local communities save the places you love for future generations. We support working farms, recreation, and tourism to benefit North Carolina's economy.

Members and private contributions are a primary source of operating income for the Coastal Land Trust. Our members keep the office doors open and the land transactions happening. If you care about the coast we urge you to join the Coastal Land Trust today.

As a member you will receive our newsletter and invitations to special events. Most importantly, your membership donation will help us protect special places in and across the coast.

Volunteer:
Volunteers are needed to help fold, stuff, and label large mailings. This volunteer opportunity is on an as-needed basis and involves a minimum time commitment. If you are interested, please click here.

Volunteer Land Steward:
If you enjoy working outdoors and would like to help the Coastal Land Trust manage its growing preserve system, you should consider becoming a Volunteer Land Steward. Each volunteer "adopts" a preserve and visits the tract one or two days a year to monitor the property.

If you would like to become a Volunteer Land Steward, or volunteer your time in some other way, please click here. Your information will be forwarded to NCCLT and a representative will contact you soon.

Stewardship Endowment:
With such a grand portfolio of conservation lands throughout the state's coastal region, stewardship is becoming increasingly expensive for the Coastal Land Trust. Conservation easements are only as strong as the stewardship program that supports them.

Our goal is to monitor each of our conservation properties at least annually on the ground, using the assistance of staff and volunteers. Your gift will help ensure that lands protected are monitored yearly and remain in a pristine condition.
